Summer reading

I wrote in my last post that I had a goal to read at least a book a month for the next year. In an effort to start on that goal, I visited the bookstore tonight and picked up a few volumes:

• Mere Christianity, by C. S. Lewis
• 1984, by George Orwell
• Hamlet, by Shakespeare
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling
